Qusedillas are easy Mexican Cuisine to make. It is generally loved by kids, teens and adults and makes a great snack or party food. It is quick and easy to make. You can almost make it with any fillings with different type of cheese, veggies, and meat. Here is a recipe for how to make bean Quesadillas, which is great for protein.
Ingredients
- 4 tortillas (whole wheat or white)
- 1 (16-ounce) can black beans
- 1 c. Shredded cheese (such as Monterey Jack)
- 1 c. Tomatos and Onions Salsa
Directions
- Open can of black beans, pour onto a plate, stir and mash with a fork a little bit to make it mashed beans.
- Place tortilla on the stove and heat it for 30 seconds. You can also use microwave to heat tortillas.
- Spread half of the mashed black beans on center line of tortilla.
- Sprinkle Shredded cheese on top.
- Top with second tortilla, slip off plate into a frying pan.
- Heat until cheese melts.
- Transfer quesadillas to plates.
- Cut each quesadilla in four pieces.
- Repeat above steps for making more Quesadillas as needed.
- Serve warm.
- Top with salsa and lettuce if desired.
